Prosciutto Day 2017

Hacía mucho, mucho tiempo que no dibujaba. Desde hace un par de años, mi trabajo no me deja apenas tiempo libre. Espero poder actualizar de vez en cuando. Dibujé este Prosciutto para un desafío de Facebook. Casualmente lo he terminado en el "Prosciutto Day".

I haven't updated for ages! Sorry. To say true, since I got my present job I barely have time to draw. I hope I'll be able to share new works here more often.
I've drawn this Prosciutto for a Facebook challenge. I've just finished it and then I've just noticed that today is Prosciutto Day!!

 

Society 6

He abierto una tienda online en Society6. Fabrican objetos como carcasas de móviles, cojines, tazas, camisetas, bolsos, etc. a partir de las obras que los artistas ofrecen y los venden y envían a todo el mundo. A menudo hay ofertas, descuentos, gastos de envío gratuitos...Informaré de ello cuando se produzca.
Por ahora sólo he subido cuatro ilustraciones, pero iré añadiendo trabajos nuevos. Como puedes ver, la mayoría de los productos disponibles tienen a la Squadra como protagonista.

I opened an online shop at Sociey6. they make phone cases, pillows, bags, mugs, T-shirts and more, using the illustrations the artists offer. They sell and ship all items worldwide.
Sometimes there are special sale, discounts, free shipping...I'll inform here when it'll happen.
Right now I only have uploaded 4 pictures, but I'll add more new stuff soon. Most of them are Squadra related!

Prosciutto blu

Este año no he dibujado nada especial para San Valentín. Aún así, espero que hayas pasado un día muy especial con tu pareja.
Hoy actualizo sólo para compartir un boceto rápido de Prosciutto.

I haven't drawn anything special for Valentine Day. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed last Sunday with your most beloved one.
I'm just updating today to share a fast Prosciutto sketch.
Besides, I've recently opened an online store at Society6. Take a look if you feel like it. Right now, there are only a few things, but most of them are Squadra related. If you ever buy something there, please, send me a photo and tell me if you are satisfied.

Natale insieme

Sólo quedan unos días para Navidad y como cada año por estas fechas, te deseo unas fiestas muy especiales y llenas de felicidad y buenos momentos.
Los asesinos también tienen derecho a relajarse y guardar las armas y los stands para compartir juntos estos momentos: No logro imaginarlos con sus propios parientes, cada uno en su hogar. Siempre los he visto como una gran extraña familia.
No es muy común que nieve en el sur de Italia, pero es algo casi obligatorio en cualquier postal navideña.

Only some days left for Christmas and this year again, I wish you all the Happiness and a lot of special moments together with the people you like.
Assassins also may relax and hide their weapons and stands to have fun just like normal people celebrating Christmas. I can't imagine them having dinner or lunch separatelly with their own relatives. I always see them as a big odd family.
Snow isn't usual in southern Italy, but well, there must always be snow in a Christmas scene!.

Il giorno del fratellone

El  6 de agosto, es el día de Prosciutto para los fans japoneses de los asesinos de la Squadra. Aunque no sea japonesa, me uno a la celebración.
Por desgracia, no pude terminar esta ilustración a tiempo, así que la comparto con unos días de retraso.
Llevaba tres meses sin actualizar debido a un nuevo bache artístico.
Pido disculpas a todos los que hayan tenido la paciencia de seguir este blog a pesar de la falta de actualizaciones.

Last 6th. August, like every year, was Prosciutto's day for japanese fans of Squadra assassins. I'm not Japanese, but like that initiative and wanted to join it, too.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish this illustration in time. That's why I'm sharing it today, several days later. 
More than three months have passed since my last updating. It was due to a new artistic bad patch.
I apologize for it. Specially if you are one of these people who are always following this blog that I don't update very often; thank you.

Ritorno

He estado muy ocupada estos últimos meses, lamento no haber actualizado en tanto tiempo.
Ahora que por fin estoy de vacaciones, quiero remediarlo y compartir más dibujos.

I've been really busy lately. I apologize for not having updated this blog for so long.
Now that I can enjoy some holidays, I'm ready to share drawings and ideas more often.

Antologia di illustrazione

Hace cosa de un mes, una amiga de Corea, excelente artista y fan como yo del equipo de asesinos de Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, me ofreció formar parte de un proyecto:
Una antología con ilustraciones a color de estos personajes en que participarían otras autoras de su país.
Acepté encantada.
La antología, de 24 páginas (sin contar la portada) reúne trabajos de nueve artistas coreanas y también dos nuevas ilustraciones mías.
Podrá adquirirse en la Comic World de Seúl a partir del próximo 16 de febrero.

About one month ago, a friend from Korea, who is an excellent artist and a big assassin team's (jojo's Bizarre Asventure) fan like me, propposed me to take part in a project:
An anthology of color illustrations of these characters, drawn by several artists from Korea.
I accepted.
The anthology has 24 pages + cover and shows the works of 9 great korean artists. It also includes two new illustrations by me.
It will be on sale next 16th. February in Comic World, in Seoul.

Hace dos días fue mi cumpleaños.

Two days ago it was my birthday.
Again, my family and friends made it a very special date and shared with me lots of love and good wishes in person, by phone or through the internet.
I dedicated this fast Prosciutto drawing to everybody who wished me a happy day online as a way to thank them.
I'll use the same "thank you" message to show my gratitude to you, who still follow this blog even if I don't update it so often.

Bagno freddo

El servidor de mi web ha cambiado. Como no se me notificó, estuve intentando actualizar sin éxito durante días. Por suerte ya pude contactar con Funpic y me facilitaron la nueva dirección.

Por otro lado, este blog ha cumplido ya dos años, en concreto el pasado 6 de agosto y no me había dado cuenta. Ya es demasiado tarde, pero  para el siguiente aniversario me gustaría hacer un sorteo o algo especial.

My site ftp-server has changed. I didn't know it and tried to update for days with no result. I was really worried. Fortunately, I contacted Funpic and they provided me the new adress.

 By the other hand, this blog is two years old since last August 6th. and I hadn't noticed. Now it's too late, but I hope I'll be able to do something special next year, like a kind of lottery.

This illustration is the new top image in my site. August may be about to finish but it's still summer and in Italy it's hot.

Ghiaccio fights this heat his own way. I hope there wasn't anybode else in that swimming pool.

I'm still alive and I like the Squadra assassins as much as the first day...

But I couldn't update this blog, I was very busy. Sorry!

Fare lo sforzo.

Ha salido a la venta una antología de doujinshi de Risotto Nero que ya he encargado.
Hace algunos meses, las organizadoras del proyecto aceptaban solicitudes para colaborar. Las instrucciones, fechas, formato (con su correpondiente plantilla) etc., pueden leerse aún en este ENLACE.
Jugué con la idea de presentarme. Hubiera sido un sueño hecho realidad formar parte de un proyecto común con algunas de mis doujinkas japonesas favoritas. Pero dudo que me hubieran aceptado siendo extranjera y la comunicación habría sido difícil, puesto que no sé japonés y tendría que haber molestado a algunos amigos para que me hicieran de intérpretes y traductores.
Por otro lado, hace tiempo que no dibujo comic y ¡tengo tantísimo que mejorar en ese campo!
No he sido capaz aún de empezar ninguno de los muchos proyectos de doujinshis que tengo en mente desde el año pasado y llevo un par de meses con una nueva crisis que hace que nada de lo que dibujo estos días merezca la pena. (De ahí que no haya actualizado últimamente este blog.)
Sin duda tengo que esforzarme mucho más si quiero atreverme a hacerme ciertas ilusiones.

A Risotto doujinshi anthology is right now on sale and I ordered it. Months ago, the authors were recruting people to take part in the project. All instructions, deadlines, formats and other informations can  still be read in this LINK.

I played with the idea of collaborating. It could have been so great to be a part of a project with some of my favourite japanese fanartists implied in it! But I don't think they'd accepted a foreigner like me as a partner. Besides, the communication would have been rather difficult, since I can't Japanese. I should  have bothered some friends to translate everything.
On the other hand, I haven't drawn comic for a long time and I have too much to improve in order to be taken into consideration.

I already haven't been able  to start any of the doujinshi projects I have in mind since last year, even the easiest ones. And the worst thing is that right now, I'm on a crisis again.
Lately, I can't draw anything worth being shared. That's why so many time has passed since I last updated this blog.

I can't afford to dream in collaborating with japanese artists before making a bigger effort.

Fratello e l'amico invisibile

Pasadas las fiestas, mi web luce una nueva imagen de bienvenida. Una vez más, Prosciutto y su terrible stand, the Grateful Dead.
Muestro también un fragmento del boceto que ha servido de base.

Christmas time is over and now my site welcomes its visitors with a new top illustration. It's Prosciutto's turn again. I drew him with his scary stand, the Grateful Dead.

Por otro lado, quería mostrar mi regalo del Amigo Invisible que han organizado en tumblr algunos fans de Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Se trata de un llavero de madera, pintado a mano, con la forma de Risotto. Venía en el interior de una bolsa de tela con uno de mis fanarts impresos. Es una auténtica monada.

I also feel like showing you a gift I've recently received. Some Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fans in tumblr organized a Secret santa event. This wooden handpainted keyring is a funny Risotto my Santa made for me. It came into a little cloth bag with one of my fanarts printed on it. A really cute present.

Un anno di più

El 2011 está a punto de terminarse.
Aunque algo menos que el anterior, también este ha sido un año en que he dibujado mucho a Risotto y sus hombres. Los asesinos me han acompañado durante estos doce meses y espero que lo sigan haciendo por mucho tiempo.
Tengo la intención de esforzarme en mejorar para dibujarlos como es debido en 2012, aportar ideas algo más originales y ponerme en serio con algunos pequeños proyectos con respecto a estos personajes, cuyos progresos compartiré aquí.
Feliz año 2012 y espero que sigamos juntos un año más. Gracias por tu apoyo.

2011 is about to expire.

It's been an "Assassini" year for me, even if I haven't drawn Risotto and his men so often like in 2010. They have accompanied me during these 12 months, and I'd like them to keep on staying with me for a long time.

I'll do my best to improve my poor skills and learn to draw better the Squadra guys in 2012. I also have the intention to propose some new ideas and start for good some little old projects. I'll share here my progress.

I wish you a very happy 2012 and I hope we are meeting here one more year. Thank you very much for your support.
