Occhi rossi

Los asesinos ya están apareciendo en el anime de Vento Aureo. Después de tantos años, podemos verlos en movimiento y escuchar sus voces. Su primera aparición, todos juntos, ha sido una delicia, algo que nunca se vio en el manga.
Han hecho un gran trabajo con Formaggio y también con Illuso.
Me gustan los ojos rojos de este último.
Estoy deseando ver al resto del equipo en acción.

The assassins are finally shown in Vento Aureo anime. After so many years having them in the manga only, it's great to listen to them speaking and watching them moving. Their first appearence, as a full team, was a pleasure, something we never saw in the original manga.
I've enjoyed Formaggio's episodes and Illuso's designs, with these red eyes that are perfect for him.
I can't wait to watch more episodes.

Benvenuto nel mio mondo!

Tras casi dos meses de crisis creativa, actualizo el blog para compartir la nueva imagen de bienvenida de la web.
Illuso y su stand "Man in the Mirror" te invitan a traspasar el espejo y entrar en su mundo.
No es un lugar acogedor, pero no te preocupes; no estarás allí mucho tiempo.

Illuso and his stand "Man in the Mirror" are inviting you to pass through the mirror and enter their world.
It isn't a confortable place, but don't worry, you won't stay there very longer.

Su schermo

Melone está muy concentrado "trabajando" a distancia. Parece estar disfrutando mientras monitoriza los movimientos de su stand.
Illuso no puede evitar echar un vistazo desde el espejo, pero su compañero está acostumbrado y no le presta atención.
El cuarto destartalado puede ser una casa semiabandonada o la habitación de un hostal de mala muerte que Melone ha escogido como base improvisada para esta misión.

Melone looks deeply concentrated in his distance "job". He seems to be enjoying the tracking of his stand's activity.
Illuso can't avoid to take a look from his mirror, but his teammate is used to it and ignores him.
The decrepit room in wich they are is maybe an abandoned house or a grotty hotel Melone chose as a improvised base for this mission

Corvi morti

Después de sacrificar una mano, Illuso pensaba que lograría escapar del ataque de Purple Haze, el stand de Fugo, pero este ya había liberado su virus mortal.
Purple Haze, con su poder terrorífico, podría haber formado parte del equipo de asesinos, pues se trata de un stand altamente letal.
Sin embargo, el destino quiso que Fugo e Illuso no estuvieran en el mismo bando.
Los cuervos fueron los primeros en sufrir los estragos del virus. Cayendo del cielo se convirtieron en un mal presagio para el hombre del espejo.

After sacrificing one of his hands, Illuso thought he finally escaped the influence of Fugo's stand, but he was wrong and it was too late. Purple Haze had already released its letal virus.
Purple Haze has a  terrible killing power, more dangerous than most stands in assassins's team. Fugo could have perfectly been one of Risotto's men.
But destiny didn't want Illuso and Fugo fighting in the same side.
Crows were the first creatures suffering the virus attack. Falling from the sky they were birds of ill-omen to the man of the mirror.

L'ultimo viaggio attraverso lo specchio

Tomando el relevo de Formaggio, Illuso se dispone a enfrentarse a los guardaespaldas que custodian a la hija del "Boss". Va confiado; no sospecha que ya nunca saldrá del espejo con vida.

Replacing Formaggio, Illuso is about to face the bodyguard team that protects the "Boss's" daughter. He's confident that it will be an easy task. He doesn't suspect that, actually, he won't get out the mirror alive anymore.

Illuso se encarga desde hoy de dar la bienvenida a los visitantes de mi web; algo que no le había correspondido hasta ahora. Comparto aquí también la ilustración para que pueda verse más grande haciendo click sobre ella.

¡Este fin de semana parto a Roma! ¡Estoy tan emocionada! Es la primera vez que viajo a Italia, la tierra de Risotto y sus hombres. Me pregunto si no me encontraré con Diavolo o Polnareff en el Coliseo.

Next week-end I'm flying to Rome! I'm so excited! It'll be my first time visiting  Squadra guys' homeland. Will I find Diavolo or Polnareff in Colisseum?.

Notturno

"La notte mi copre dolcemente con il suo manto di silenzo e di tenebre. Vorrei catturare la luna nel mio specchio per farla mia in eterno."

La noche me arropa suavemente con su manto de silencio y sombras. Quisiera atrapar la luna en mi espejo y hacerla mía para siempre.

The night wraps me up with its gentle mantle of silence and shadows. I wish I could catch the moon in my mirror and do it mine forever.

Esta vez le toca el turno a Illuso y su "Man in the Mirror". El marco del espejo no lo he dibujado yo. Es una trama.

Estoy trabajando en la que será mi web de "Assassini". Tendrá prácticamente los mismos contenidos que este blog, pero será más fácil visualizar los dibujos. Mejoraré y retocaré un poco algunos de los más viejos.
Espero tenerla lista para principios del año que viene.
Me pregunto si hay más webs de fanart en Occidente dedicadas en su mayor parte a la Squadra; en Japón hay muchísimas.

I'm working right now in my "Assassini" site. It will contain more or less the same art you can find here, but I think it will be easier to look every fanart there. I'll retouch and correct some of my old stuff.

I hope it'll be ready in January.
I wonder if there are other western fanart sites with the Squadra men as main subject. In Japan you can find tons of them.

Parlami vicino al mio orecchio

Illuso y Formaggio juntos, quizás compartiendo un "trabajo".
Cuando Formaggio reduce su estatura, es de suponer que la potencia de su voz también disminuye, así que Illuso debe acercarlo a su oído para poder escucharle.
Me hubiera gustado verles cooperando en el manga.

Illuso and Formaggio together. Maybe this time they are sharing a "job".

When Formaggio reduces his size, the sound of his voice may become low, so Illuso has to take him close to his ear in order to listen to him.

It would have been great to see them working together.

Il suo migliore amico

El mundo del interior del espejo es frío y solitario.
Illuso y las personas a quienes permite entrar son las únicas formas de vida en esta dimensión.
Estoy segura de que a Illuso no le gustan las multitudes y que en una fiesta, banquete o concierto se sentiría tremendamente incómodo.
Aunque con sus compañeros de la Squadra haya logrado estar a gusto, su mejor amigo es su stand, "Man in the Mirror", su alter ego, su verdadero yo, "alguien" a quien muy pocos pueden ver y a quien sólo él conoce realmente.

The world inside the mirror is cold and lonely.
Illuso and the few people given permission by him to enter his personal dimension are the only lifeforms there.
I'm sure of Illuso hating crowded places. He probably feels uncomfortable in feasts, parties and concerts.
Maybe he got used to his teammates in the "Squadra" , but his best friend is still his stand, "Man in the Mirror", his alter ego, his true self. "Someone" who only very few people can see; "someone" well known only by him.

Illusione VS. Virus

Fugo suele ser un chico tranquilo, pero de vez en cuando saca un genio terrible que uno no se espera.
También su stand, "Purple Haze" resultó ser uno de los más terroríficos, con su ataque vírico capaz de aniquilar cualquier forma de vida en su perímetro. Incluso los compañeros de Fugo en el grupo de Guardaespaldas temían su poder.
Illuso no tuvo suerte al tener a Fugo como rival. "Man in the Mirror" no era tan impresionante, sin embargo, si Giorno y Abbacchio no hubieran echado una mano a su compañero, Illuso podría haberlo derrotado...
Después de todo, el asesino era sumamente perseverante y no se rindió fácilmente.

Fugo uses to be a calm boy, but from time to time, he suddenly shows a rather scary bad temper. His stand, "Purple Haze" with its viral attack can annihilate every life form inside its perimeter. That makes it one of the most powerful stands in Bodyguards team, feared even by Fugo's teammates.
Illuso wasn't lucky having Fugo as a rival. Anyway, even if "Man in the Mirror" wasn't that powerful, it could have defeated Fugo's stand.
Giorno's and Abbacchio's help was precious to Fugo, because Illuso didn't give up so easily.

Illusione mortale

Illuso... Aunque no llegamos a conocerlo mucho en el manga, su mundo personal en el interior del espejo da mucho juego a la hora de desarrollar el personaje y su psicología.
Su stand además, puede ser muy util no ya sólo para matar, si no para abrir atajos entre espejos, permitiéndole infiltrarse incluso en lugares cerrados. Debe de ser facil para él robar un vehículo introduciéndose en él a través del retrovisor.
"Man in the Mirror" no parece un stand fuerte a la hora de luchar cuerpo a cuerpo. Sin duda casi toda su energía va destinada a mantener activa esa misteriosa cuarta dimensión.

He de confesar que si no dibujo más a menudo a Illuso es por culpa de su ropa. No es que no me guste su traje acolchado, pero ¡da tanto trabajo!

Illuso...His personal world inside the mirror offers a lot of interesting possibilities to develop the character and his psychology.
Illuso's stand can be useful not only for killing. It opens dimensional doors and paths from one mirror to another, so he can infiltrate even closed rooms.
Imagine Illuso stealing a car. An easy thing if he enters it through the rear-view mirror.
"Man in the Mirror" seems not to be a strong stand in close fighting, I suppose his energy is focused in keeping his 4 th. dimension active.

I've to confess that I don't draw Illuso very often due to his quilted clothes. I like them, but they give so much work!

L'uomo nel specchio

Illuso, el hombre del espejo y...de las coletas. Me pregunto cuántas horas al día dedican estos gangsters a su cabello.
En mi visión personal del personaje, Illuso es callado e introvertido en el mundo real, pero mucho más seguro de sí mismo y decidido en el mundo del interior del espejo. Un mundo bastante solitario y triste en mi opinión, pero donde él se encuentra cómodo, ya que puede controlarlo todo.

I wonder how many hours do these gangsters spend in hair care.
In my personal vision of Illuso, he's introverted and doesn't speak very much in real world, but he's very different into the mirror: he looks pretty more self-confident there.
I find the world into the mirror rather lonely and sad, but Illuso feels confortable in a place, where he controls everything.
